The Osher Lifelong learning Institute at George Mason University satisfies the curious mind. For 30 years, OLLI has enhanced the cultural vitality of the surrounding community with an academic program similar to a liberal arts college. The program began from a desire among retirees to enjoy university level courses, explore interests, and connect socially and intellectually with their peers. Now the institute offers over 600 lecture & discussion courses annually in all curricula: Music, Art, Psychology, Science, Policy, to Current Events and so much more…

Jennifer L. Disano serves as the Executive Director of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at George Mason University (OLLI Mason), a nonprofit membership driven organization with three regional campuses in Northern Virginia offering 600 educational courses per year to over 1200 members, serving retired individuals aged 55 or better. As OLLI Mason is nationally aligned with 125 OLLIs at Universities, she works closely with other OLLIs across the country.
