She also provides simple tools that anyone living with a chronic condition can benefit. Dr. De León also shares her wisdom and lessons learned living with Parkinson’s, caring for her grandmother who had Parkinson’s, how she too has had challenges with the medical community in understanding her diagnosis, and her personal philosophy in living well with Parkinson’s disease.

  • PERSEVERE is a national study funded by the National Institutes of Health, led by Dr. Jori Fleisher at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
