Falls Prevention 101

Falls are NOT inevitable as we age. In fact, most falls are preventable. This presentation will include a discussion about risk factors for a fall and practical strategies to reduce your risk. Sara Pappa is a full-time faculty member at Marymount University in Arlington where she manages the regional falls prevention initiative, including the Northern Virginia Falls Prevention Alliance.
