Last week when I wrote about the James Parkinson tulip, I was inspired by a photo taken by a person living with Parkinson’s that was featured in the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Parkinson’s Newsletter. We have since received permission to share the photo with you. Many thanks to Pat for sharing this lovely photo taken by her husband, Ralph. Pat wrote, “Last fall we planted a few James Parkinson tulip bulbs that we had ordered from the Maine Parkinson Society. As you can see, they are quite cheerful and a great addition to the garden.”
And thank you to Diane Sherman, for obtaining permission and also her wonderful newsletter! (More info here.) I look forward to it each week and my favorite part is the featured photo. If you have photos you’d like to share in our newsletter, Out & About with Parkinson’s, please send them to sonia@ParkinsonSocialNetwork.org and I’ll include them in our newsletter and blog.
