NEW! Online Meeting Start Times
Starting in January, all Side by Side Support groups and Café meetings will now start at 10am EST. Length of meetings will now be 90 minutes (10am-11:30am EST).

All in person support events have been suspended. To support our community, PSN offers three online support options each month:

The Davis Phinney Foundation has launched a new series called Ask the Parkinson’s Expert which features videos with people living with Parkinson’s, carepartners, DPF ambassador leaders, and Parkinson’s specialists.
 
The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) has a virtual calendar that has all their exercise, wellness and support programs available.

Simplified TaiChi 24 forms class available for those with Parkinson’s and/or their Caregivers
Meng Lin leads this class on Wednesdays via Zoom starting at 12:30pm and lasts for 1 to 1.5 hour (including a warm-up/stretch routine).  If you are interested in participating in this class, please call Meng at 703-503-3412 (leave a message if no one answers), if interested.

Dance for Parkinson’s hosts free livestream classes and conversations each week. Visit their website for the most up to date schedule.

Programs From Parkinson’s Foundation (Parkinson.org):
Mindfulness Mondays: Follow guided relaxation techniques that help boost brain power and reduce stress every Monday at 1 p.m. ET.
Wellness Wednesdays: Engage with others in the Parkinson’s disease (PD) community and explore your creative side every Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET.
Fitness Fridays:  Follow PD-tailored fitness episodes from home, each one highlighting a new fitness focus. New videos go live every Friday!
